1. Go to http://www.hellophotos.com/
2. Click on your name. This will take you to your personal gallery.
3. Click on "login" at the top right corner of the page.
4. Enter your username and password. (These will be provided by Heather and Rob. You can change them later if you want.)
5. Now you are ready to create your first album.
1. Click on "new nested album" at the top right corner of the page. You should see a page that says "Hey! Add some photos."
2. Click on "properties". A new box will pop up.
3. Type a name for this album in the "Album Title" space. Scroll down to the bottom of this box and click "Apply".
4. Close the new box.
5. Now you are ready to add some pictures!
1. Click on "add photos" near the top right corner of the page.
2. A new box will pop up.
3. Click on one of the "BROWSE" buttons, and find the picture you want on your computer.
4. When youšve found the picture you want, click "Open".
5. Repeat this process for up to 5 pictures.
6. Click "Upload now".
7. When the pictures are uploaded, a new box will appear that says "Dismiss". Click on "Dismiss". If the box remains, just go ahead and close it.
1. If you want to name a picture, click on the dropdown menu beneath it.
2. Click on "Edit Caption".
3. Enter your title, then click "Save".
4. Your picture title should appear underneath the picture. You can use a single word title, or your can write a little desciption of the picture.
It is a good idea to rename your albums. This is different from the "title" you gave your album in the "Album Title" section. The album TITLE only appears on the gallery page. But the album NAME appears as part of the URL for each album.
To rename an album, click on the dropdown menu that says "Edit Album". You should see an option called "Rename Album". Click on this and a new window should pop up. Type the name of your album in the space provided. When youšve typed it, click "Rename". Your album should be renamed now.
